Welcome to IMACY!

International Music and Art Competition for Youth “Munich Meetings” is an event for young musicians and artists to demonstrate their talent.

IMACY is open, regardless of gender or nationality, to all young musicians and artists born after June 10, 2008 (under 18 years of age).

Young musicians and artists are invited to submit their creative works for a chance to participate in our prestigious competition. Winners will have the unique opportunity to perform at the final concert of laureates in renowned concert halls in Munich.

Participants, musicians and artists, can enter one or both competition categories:

• Free Theme Presentation – Submit a work of your choice, showcasing your artistic vision.
• Thematic Interpretation – Select a musical piece performed by fellow young musicians in the competition and create an original work that illustrates its core idea.

The main idea of the competition is a collaboration of musicians and artists. Listening to a musical piece, understanding its images and then embodying them in either drawings or art works is a unique experience for a young artist. It is in this creative collaboration that new ideas are born.
